ACHRH is pleased to be a member of the NATIONAL ADVOCACY GROUP.

Its goal is to ensure safety and justice for victims/survivors of family violence, regardless of visa status and type.

Those on temporary visa holders who experience family violence in Australia face multiple barriers to accessing safety, health services, housing, income,  support, stability and justice. These barriers can cause women to remain in situations that are harmful and dangerous.

The National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022-2032 needs to ensure that all women and children can have access to income, health services, safety, housing and stability.
